So I just turned off messaging so no one from Yelp can contact my business through their platform. Yelp wouldn't allow me to delete my business profile, either. I realized soon after that other business owners in my niche were complaining that Yelp wrote a negative review themselves, when the business owners either cancelled their ad campaigns or told the sales people to stop calling and bugging them. Yeah.a "customer" who was never a customer. Yelp said they couldn't remove the review since it was a customer's experience, or some crap. I got in touch with Yelp to dispute the review, telling them this person never did business with my company and only asked for a price quote, which he was given and I chose not to do business with him. From a person that never did business with my company and only asked for a price quote. And not only that, but there was now a new review.
Several months later, I realized all of the positive reviews my customers left were no longer visible. Little did I know that I would start getting bombarded with sales calls from Yelp sales people, every single day, for months. That was probably one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. Yelp is a very shady and dishonest company! As a business owner, I decided to create a Yelp profile, along with other local directories I submitted to. Yelp is very greedy, dishonest & manipulative

Please dont fall for this overrated scam site google will glady give you a bussiness page for free and wont tamper with your earnings. This really irritated me today considering all our reviews and ratings are genuinely sincere, people love our work and prices and this makes us look bad foreal.
I will no longer recommend this website to anyone and id rather go to google my bussiness and watch our ratings and reviews build sky high and make our company successful. so for yelp to try and interfere is almost making me feel like they are scamming people because we didnt pay the outrageous prices for their website they are going to make us pay one way or another !! Its complete BS. How can they just up and decide what reviews are real or fake or any of that ? By a computer system !!.we have 3-5 jobs a day some jobs are people out off state that have us keep up their properties, some are elderly and sick and cant afford big companies to charge then an arm and leg, some people just prefer a good family owned honest company!! this is where we come in and help and that is what gives us our great ratings. We are a legit company licensed and insured and we guarantee customer satisfaction or we will not leave until that customer has a big smile on their face!!. this is why ratings and reviews exist ,anybody with a small successful bussiness will understand exactly what i mean, we earned those reviews fair and square and yelp had the audacity to remove them after we worked so hard to get them.

Yelp is a joke !! We came here for help advertising our small bussiness, we came by today after a year of not checking and they held back 10 of our 5☆reviews then have us watch a video saying that you are not allowed to mention reviews to your customers and that they decided that our hard earned reviews were fake, calling us liars pretty much, our bussiness strives for good ratings we bust our butts literally everyday to get good reviews!! everyday in the brutal sun risking our lives to cut down massive trees around power lines with chainsaws crawling through swamp lands, we work for some pretty big companies like cable and power water etc we run a highly professional company!! What are reviews for if you cant let people know they can leave them to help our chances of building our company these reviews determine what customers choose us ! Rwviews and ratings are so the customers can find good reliable service without a hassle. Yelp is a joke ! Warning reviews and ratings will be held back from your bussiness page because you work hard and get all 5☆s they will say they are faked and not legit !!
